BTM Kiremitaltı
BTM Kiremitaltı is a waterproofing membrane produced from oxidized bitumen, reinforced with cellulose fiber or glass fleece, coated with polyethylene film on the lower surface and polypropylene woven fabric on the upper surface, and applied using wide-head nails. BTM manufactures 4 different types of Kiremitaltı membranes with different technical characteristics.

APPLICATION AREAS
It is used for waterproofing purposes under roofing materials (such as roof tiles) on pitched roofs.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface to be treated must be free from dust, dirt, rust, and oil. Loose particles must be scraped off and removed.
APPLICATION METHOD
BTM Waterproofing Membrane Kiremitaltı is nailed onto the roof decking with wide-head nails, parallel to the gutter direction, starting from the lowest level. As the application proceeds upward, each sheet must overlap the previous one by 10 cm, and the entire surface must be covered in this manner.
PACKAGING
BTM Waterproofing Membrane Kiremitaltı is supplied in rolls measuring 1 m in width and 10 m in length.
STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE
Rolls should be stored upright in covered areas. If rolls need to be stored outdoors for an extended period, they must be covered to protect them from sunlight. Bituminous membranes must not be stacked on top of each other.
