BTM Elastobit
BTM Elastobit is a waterproofing membrane manufactured from SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) modified bitumen, reinforced with either glass fiber mat or polyester felt. It features a PE (polyethylene) film on the lower surface, while the upper surface is finished with either PE film or a colored mineral granule coating.
Thanks to its high elasticity, BTM Elastobit performs exceptionally well on surfaces requiring flexibility and durability. It can be applied using a torch flame or hot asphalt and provides reliable long-term waterproofing protection.
BTM offers 10 different Elastobit membrane variants, each designed with specific technical characteristics to meet a wide range of waterproofing requirements and project conditions.

Surface Preparation
The application surface must be cleaned of dust, dirt, rust, oil, and loose particles. When required, BTM BTS 100 liquid waterproofing material or BTM BTR 100 primer should be applied and allowed to dry completely before installation.
Application Method
For concrete substrates, the surface should be finished with a properly sloped screed, troweled smooth, clean, and dry.
Before applying BTM Elastobit Waterproofing Membrane, the surface should be primed with BTS 100 bituminous solution primer (TS 103) or BTR 100 bituminous emulsion primer (TS 113) and allowed to dry.
Installation begins from the lowest point and proceeds upward according to the slope. The membrane is bonded to the substrate by heating it with a torch flame.
Membrane rows must be staggered. End overlaps (short side) should be 15 cm, while side overlaps (long side) should be at least 10 cm. A roller should be used to ensure proper sealing of overlap joints.
Between successive layers, joints should be staggered by 50 cm on the short side and 5 m on the long side.
